Pentatard AT is a set retarder in powder form based on natural tartaric acid.
- It is very effective in the mixtures based on cement and/or gypsum with hydrated lime.
- In gypsum-based mixtures, it develops an interval between the beginning and the ending of the setting which is much more controllable than the one developed by the synthetic tartaric acid.
- It delays the setting time of gypsum in proportion to the dosage, even from the very first small additions.
- It stands thermal action up to 200°C without undergoing any deep alteration so that efficaciousness is not affected.
